Sensory Sensitivity on Skin - Is it EDS Related?

Do any of you experience sensory sensitivity on certain areas of your skin? It happens seemingly randomly. It feels slightly numb and like someone is touching my skin with sand paper 🥴 It happens most often on my arms, sides, and thighs. The top of my forearm is like this currently and I can’t even wear long sleeves when it is like this. Is this EDS related? Have any of you talked to your physician about it?

I don't know if it's EDS related but I have it too. Some parts of my skin will just feel overly sensitive. It could fibro.

Maybe, but I have autism so IDK. One of the things about my autism is sensory issues. I would have no idea if it’s EDS related or not.

Yeah, I think so. It usually happens to me when my posture has been poor. I raise my arms above my head and stretch and things will pop back into place and it will help with getting feeling back sometimes.
