I haven’t been diagnosed with anything directly about a sensitivity to sensory stimulation. But I feel like something is off. I can’t stand certain colors together, textures of fabric, food, the feel of rain. It all makes me feel like curling up and screaming. Is that anything anyone can relate to?
yep, for me it’s related to being autistic! i have a friend who has ocd-related issues like this! my advice would be trying to make things in your life more accessible and try to pre-plan for your needs!
Absolutely, I used to literally curl up and scream any time someone "squeaked" a paper towel, now I just violently cringe and just feel the pain. I'm also working on an Autism diagnosis.
