Not new to epilepsy but my seizures have been getting more severe in the last few years. A recently had a seizures while showering and am now having horrible nightmares about my husband finding me dead in the shower. Anyone else have this problem?

I'm scared to sleep or shower without my husband and even then sleeping is hard.

I struggle with this too. I don’t have seizures often but when I do they’re tonic-clonic and I also have GAD. Whenever I’m near water I worry if it’ll be my last moment

So do you have refractory epilepsy? If so maybe you can talk to a doctor about getting an implant? (Of course that is the doctor's decision and I don't know your whole story, etc. etc)

Yep...I have been out of my meds for almost a month and the other night I had 3 seizures back to back

I've had severe anxiety about this recently as well. :(

@LadyRaceCarDriver I’ve gained all this weight because of this anxiety. I’m scared to do anything alone

@Yrrebwarts I'm trying to not let it get the best of me, but its so hard. It's been bad for me too lately. Would you wanna talk about it privately?
