I was 19 years old with memory loss, my hair was falling out and I was so tired that my roommate noticed how much I was sleeping. I couldn’t walk to class I literally had to drive myself across campus.

i was seeking treatment for years but my mom kept telling me that what was going on with me was normal(probably cause she also has hella trauma) but finally opened up to me seeking a diagnosis for whatever was wrong with me after i attempted, and i was diagnosed with bpd what got me to want to seek treatment was just knowing how miserable i was all the time, how i couldn’t stop nasty thoughts and how every year my school performance was declining. i think there were many other factors too, but those were the main ones

I first sought help for my mental issues when I was 12. I was so desperate to feel better that I begged my parents to send me off to a boarding school My physical health went down hill about 3 years ago and my husband and I had to get food from the neighborhood pantry. That food triggered something and wasn't able to stop throwing up and lost about 30 pounds in like 2 months
