Seeking Treatment for Chronic Pain

Other than managing the pain is there any treatments I should be seeking? Specialist recommendations?

Find a physical therapist that specializes in pelvic floor health. I didn't see one until after my hysterectomy and wished I would have seen one sooner.

❤️ I have had bad pain with endometriosis too. I have had two diagnostic laparoscopies which provided relief without removing any sexual organs. Since you are trying to conceive I wouldn't suggest Lupron, which puts you in a menopausal state. It could be an option for after you are done having children.🤗💕 See you OBGYN and be very specific with your needs. Advocate for yourself or bring a person you love for more support.

thank you!! I finally found an OBGYN that I like and who seems to listen to me but she is hesitant to do surgeries and Is close to impossible to schedule with - I dread starting the search again but access to the doctor has definitely been a problem

I was offered two pill choices but I can't go on them since I am trying to get pregnant

i am also trying to get pregnant but I’ve been in what feels like a constant flare up since having appendicitis last summer ☹️ all the doctor has been able to do for me is naproxen and she doesn’t want to do any surgeries since we have been trying to conceive. Best of luck!

There is no cure or accepted treatments for endo besides pain management but it goes away after menopause so... 🤔
