I'm a uni student currently being tested for the rarer types of EDS after meeting the criteria for hEDS. I often use forearm crutches to get around when my leg joints are very painful or unstable, but recently, I have noticed that this is making my arm joints hurt quite a bit. what other mobility options are there for me that aren't expensive (in the uk)?

Smart crutches that you can adjust the arms and put it at an angle greatly reduced the pain for me

Some people with similar conditions have found relief using a rollator walker, which provides support while walking and also includes a seat for when you get tired. Others have mentioned the use of wheelchairs or mobility aids like canes. However, it's important to note that what works best can vary from person to person, and it may be beneficial to discuss these options with a physical therapist or doctor.
