Seeking Medical Advice in the Metairie/New Orleans Area

I’m new to this App and to the Metairie/New Orleans Area. I’m a teacher and they say I make to much to afford Medicaid but all my doctors bills are adding up and eating me alive. I’ve had this awful pain in my back and have been constipated for the past week. I’ve been taking everything from laxative and stool softeners and I still can’t get out a full ‘passing’. I just came from the doctor Monday and they told me it was gas. It has since not gotten better, I toss and turn in pain at night, and bending over is the worst. What should I do or who should I see. I currently don’t have a regular pcp

As a last resort I would say go get some magnesium citrate a couple of bottles from your local pharmacy or grocery store they should have them and they're cheap! I recommend cherry flavored they are sour and hard to stomach but it might help!

Could it possibly be any part of ur reproductive system? what doctors have you seen? I know gynecologist would work, gastroenterologist would work, maybe look at getting a colonoscopy? Also try different health care providers

I just came from Gyno in March. Besides the normal Abnormal Cells, everything checked out. Urgent recommended I see a PCP to follow up but the school nurse suggested seeing a GI.
