Struggling with Seasonal Allergies: Need Advice

my seasonal allergies are so bad I spend most of spring and fall in my room struggling to breathe, and they're only getting worse. the only otc meds that work for me dry me out so bad that I get nose bleeds and migraines from dry eyes (I also have sjogrens). I tried prescription meds (montelucast) but it made me suicidal. now the doctors are telling me I don't even /have/ allergies it's something else that /mimics/ allergies, but I don't feel like they're listening to me. and I don't feel like they're willing to help me anymore. does anyone have any advice on anything else to try? is it worth seeing another allergist if they're just going to tell me the same thing, or is there anyone else I could go to?

I have bad allergies as well. I live with an air purifier next to me as much as possible. I also have an Ozone purifier I use a few times a year. That kills everything in lufing bugs AND mold spores. Most days I reach for my Navage once atm. Maybe I will need more as I venture outside more often. I take Levocetirine during allergy season daily. And benadryl during the course of my day when I need more help. Depending on what I do. But, I suggest you get those three devices. Total cost was 200.00. But, I didn't get them all at once. I had to save up for each one. Good Luck I know how miserable you are feeling.

I would definitely get an allergy test to see if you do have allergies. Sounds like you do. Idk what drs is saying you don’t. Mine are so bad they cause migraines and sinus infections. I am getting allergy shots and only go outside if I’m wearing a fabric mask. I can’t afford to get clogged up because then my balance is off and feel dizzy. It a cycle. As far as you- I would get allergy tested. Try to take care of yourself as much as possible to avoid triggers. Easier said than done. I know. Hang in there.
