Does anyone else have a movement disorder or tics caused by treatment for their schizophrenia? I got a movement disorder causing Tourettic type tics and it may be Tardive Tourettism, a subtype of Tardive Dyskinesia. It's very difficult to live with.

I have Tardive dyskinesia, Dystonia, drug induced Parkinsonism, and Akathisia from years of anti psychotics. I’m now disabled. Please everyone be careful when coming off or changing and keep does as low as is manageable. If you have the movements you may wanna look at reducing dose or changing meds carefully. The drugs mask the severity but these disorders can be reversed if caught early.
I have schizoaffective disorder, and I’ve had jerky movements occasionally. These movements have started before I was on any meds to treat my schizoaffective. It doesn’t happen very often, but when it does happen it’s very annoying!
