Schizophrenia Support: Let's Connect and Make Friends!

S/O to all my schizos..... who needs friends? I feel like it's hard to make friends with our diagnosis. we tend to over share, and be socially awkward. I connected with someone on this app today and it all makes sense now. we all just need each other. it's so much harder thinking that no one else with schizophrenia or schizoeffective is out there... we are! if anyone needs a friend who understands..... I'm here. also, try to make some friends in the comments as well! say a fun fact about yourself, let's see how many great friendships we can create!

I have schizo affective disorder with bipolar 1 and i take serequel and for my anxiety i take klonopin and for my depression i smoke alot of weed i think that helps me a lot if u need a friend u can always message me k

Thanks for the S/O. It is really tough to make friends. I think I have about 5. Finally getting somewhat stable after 20 years! Congrats to everyone who is dealing with the schizo instead of running from it!

I have schizoaffective bipolar type and call me crazy but I see shadows out of the corner of my eye and hear voices. I've lost so many friends because of my other problems. But on a positive note, I have a passion for writing and I am going to college in August for Interactive Media.

I deal with schizoeffective bipolar type too. It took a long time to get me stable with my diagnoses otherwise. Sounds like you are on a good track. Congratulations.

I just started on here today and I would love to make friends with other schizophrenic people or schizoaffective people. Making friends has been so hard on me since my diagnosis of schizoaffective. I feel socially awkward but Iā€™m so up for new friends with same diagnosis as me. ā¤ļø šŸ¤—
