I am a spiritual healer. I believe my disorder is a gift. How does schizophrenia help you? It gives me a safe place in my mind.

Well I understand you. There’s a fine line between the spiritual and the psychiatric. I don’t believe mine is a gift but I am able to appreciate the small things because my life feels more magical with the little “coincidences”.

Your belief is incredibly problematic, you should keep it off this app because it doesn't help us at all it just damages us as time goes on. It is not a "gift"

This honestly sounds like something my boyfriend's dad would say and believe

NOPE. It’s a medical condition. Keep your unfounded theories to yourself.

this is a very dangerous thing to generalize for people with schizophrenia. it can easily lead to delusions
