I am schizoaffective and am being treated with abilify injection and seroquel. I'm doing the best I can but does anyone else struggle with communication even while medicated. I still don't feel the urge to say or interact much and the things I say seem to be wrong. does anyone else have that problem
I am schizoaffective too! You're not alone! It gets easier over time as you adjust. I take lithium and haldol. They work pretty good. I used to take Seroquel it helps. Sleep is very important!
I had speech problems as well. Eventually you get it back. I still have a hard time communicating so I use reference points so ppl can perhaps see where I'm coming from
It's nice to see I'm not the only one. Today was a hard day for me a relatives friend passed and they tried to talk to me but I just never know what to say to ppl .
I had a little trouble connecting with my friend when her father passed away recently. It was a big change all of a sudden from her. She went from being super close to basically finding someone else to talk to and I'm a little upset by it.n
