it was kind of interesting. the noises were vairy loud but it felt like i could only focus on the noise. felt like a brain massage lkke when you wear earbuds and turn ur music way up and the noise is going like right to your brain. almost fell asleep it was v relaxing

Every time I’ve gotten an mri I’ve been given noise canceling headphones and the techs put blankets on me to keep me warm and I always end up falling asleep (they’ve always been in the evening so that probably helps)

I have gotten this done and the worst part for me was when the push the fluid through my IV fast it was a weird feeling… but other than that it was not scary. It felt like it took for ever though and after I was all done at the hospital I was very tired and needed a nap.

I'm claustrophobic and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The part that really bothered me was how loud it was, but they gave me ear plugs so it wasn't as bad as it could have been. If the MRI is only of your brain it should be quick. Good luck!

I’ve been sedated during mine, so I don’t know how it is when you’re awake. Though I assume it can get claustrophobic and loud. However I believe you shouldn’t have to worry! You’ll do great c:

No it’s not necessarily scary. If you’re claustrophobic it may be an issue, but otherwise, they give you earmuffs because it can get a bit loud. Just stay calm and relax. It depends on the required imaging, but mine only took 15 minutes.

      Did you have an iv?

Shouldn’t be! Mine was very fast, only my upper half of my body was in the machine and it was pretty relaxing despite the noise of the machine. Easy to zone out and think about anything
