Scared of Kidney Biopsy: Need Advice

My lab results were way off. Inflammation. To see if it’s diabetes related which that’s the best case. Or multiple myeloma. My PA said probably not that because my other labs were good.

I’ve never had a kidney biopsy. I’m sure you will do great 😊 What are they checking for?

kidney biopsies are a piece of cake! i was given fentanyl/versed bc medical procedures make me very nervous so i don’t even remember it. the only thing that sucks is you have to lay flat on your back for 4 hours afterwards i think. your kidneys have no nerves but your skin obviously does, so that’s where the discomfort will be.
