Endoscopy procedure was easy and if you have good doctors they’ll soothe your nerves. And the meds that put you out is so quick, you’ll be out before you can finish counting back from 10. It’s a lot easier than it sounds

An endoscopy is easy. I had a scratchy throat for an hour, but nothing I couldn’t tolerate. Now for the colonoscopy the prep is bad, but put some Crystal Light lemonade in there and I was able to take it. Don’t chug the stuff it will just give you cramps and nausea.

After being put out many times I have to admit I *LOOOOVE* being put out. It is so relaxing to me and I love the idea that I'm just sleeping the whole time they're doing something that would otherwise be very painful if I wasn't asleep. You don't feel a thing. You get put to sleep easily, sleep for a bit, and when you wake up everything is done and you feel soooo great from the sleepy meds. 😜 I've had 4 endoscopies and 3 surgeries, and next month I'm going under again for a hysterectomy. Everything will be fine! These people are so skilled in what they do! I promise the colonoscopy prep will be the worst part of your whole ordeal, not the going under itself.
