The "best" medication as far as controlling the inflammation are steroids. The "worst" medication as far as causing more issues are steroids. It's a no win situation. Your Sarc symptoms abate but then you develop other problems making your overall health worse. Long term use of steroids creates adrenal dependency making it impossible to stop taking steroids or risk death. There is another anti-inflammatory medication out there that's non-steroidal and non-habit firming... Meloxicam...you can ask to try it. Remember, YOU are in charge of your body. Research ALL medications before agreeing to take them.
