Living with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Depression

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and I need so much sleep because of it. If I do a lot one day it takes the whole next day to recooperate. I also have Depression so I am on a lot of meds. Having both is a double whammy! Does anyone have both?

I fully understand. Im in the middle of moving and it is taking so much longer because im exhausted and in pain. I havent been diagnosed with depression i feel depressed though. I just do the best i can. Everyone else is right, listen to your body and do what you can. No one persons body responds or does at the next person. Have an amazing rest of your day😊

Oh yes. Yesterday I had to go do a breathing test were they see how long I hold oxygen while resting and while walking. Plus having to come one and walk up two flights on stairs took everything out of me. No my arthritis is very agitated and I'm all swollen and stiff. But I do my best to keep moving and smiling. This is not the life I saw myself having at 49.. ❤️ Try not to feel to down or beat yourself up. Do what you can when you can and allow your body to tell you what it needs. Don't let no body make you feel any type away about your illnesses. ❤️

I sleep late every morning. About 11:30am. I go to bed late. I also don't sleep well because of pain. I am not good the next day after running errands the day before. I also live on a third floor of a 6 apt bldg. Without a dishwasher. It doesn't help my symptoms.
