Does anyone else have scenarios in their head where you go back to the traumatic events, and basically play out how it could've been different? Like adding someone there who wasn't, or saying something you were too scared to say back then, and creating, like, a sort of mental movie? I just want to know from others like me if this is normal and if I shouldn't be doing this because I should think about what happened as little as possible. š

Many people shared that they often fantasize about going back in time and doing something differently, including both big life events and small conversations. Some believe it may be related to PTSD, while others think it could be caused by other factors. It's also mentioned that this habit has been reduced through therapy for some individuals.
