Stage 4 Renal Cell Carcinoma and High Antinuclear Antibodies: Anyone Else?

I have stage 4 renal cell carcinoma. But every blood panel I have done shows extremely high antinuclear antibodies. I have a lot of pain that seems like arthritis but so much attention is given my cancer that other things (like joint pain and very high antinuclear antibodies) kind of fall along the wayside. They say I might have rheumatism but aren’t sure. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

my breast cancer was found during a routine physical, followed by a biopsy. I had a Total Knee Replacement already scheduled for the following month. when they called with the biopsy results they informed me they were calling the surgeon to cancel the TKR what's messed up is I was more upset about having to postpone the knee surg than i was about the Cancer.

In January I learned that I had a large tumor on my left kidney. It was found by a CT Scan for another issue. On the 25th of January my left kidney was removed. The Pathology Report showed 2a cancer, medium risk. I ha.ve 92% chance of complete cure with just the surgery alone. I am a bit confused as to why they are not concerned about your Kidney Cancer. Would surgery help your condition at all. I do realize that stage 4 renal cancer is a difficult diagnosis. What are antinuclear antibodies? And how do they play into the whole scenerio? I'm so sorry, I was an RN, but I worked with newborns. My practice did not include cancer patients. Perhaps I could understand if I knew more. I'm very sorry!!
