Does anyone else have a hard time remembering to take their medication? I feel like alarms don’t help me, and my fiancé tries to help me remember to take them, but even then it’s not fool proof. How do you guys remember to take them?

I have a weekly med container, keep them on my kitchen table so that I see them when I eat, and set alarms on my phone.

I message my friends every time I take my meds (morning and evening) they give positive reinforcement plus it helps them remember to take theirs :) i also try keep them in a visible spot and not move them from that spot

there are some good apps that you can download! I used to use. I think medisafe was one of them. you can put in your med types, set reminders, and also mark off when you take them. I also try to put my pill organizer somewhere that I’m gonna see it every day- by my toothbrush or glasses or something like that.

Be careful, hun! I took Lamotrigine for a little over six years and it gave me withdrawal seizures when I missed more than one dose. There are agencies that will give you med reminder calls. https://www.goodrx.com/healthcare-access/medication-education/medication-reminder-apps

I used to be the worst and remembering to take my meds. I set alarms religiously and I keep my meds on my nightstand next to my keys and phone so that I will always see them and remember to take them.

Make it fun! I use to dread taking meds but I always took it with my favorite drink that I can only have with my pills so I trained my brain that pills are not a bad thing.

Since I only take them when I wake up and before bed, I put my glasses by the pills. Take them before putting glasses on and before taking them off. I tried the pill organizers but hated filling them.

Pill organizer helped a ton! I also started taking them at my cats’ mealtimes. If I am late, don’t want to get out of bed, etc. my cats will bother me until I get up, take my meds, and feed them. 😂

Also, the negative consequences of forgetting my meds was a good reinforcer 😂

Completely agree with the above ^ pill organizers and alarms are awesome. Also, they sell pill dispensers that dispense the appropriate meds at the right time to do the remembering for you!

Pill organizer, alarms and husband. And feeling off usually reminds me as well. It's a constant battle
