Struggling to Remember Important Tasks

How do you keep things you need to do or check up on months from now in mind? I feel like this is the main reason I’ve lost out on opportunities to equally qualified peers - they’re just more on top of it and I want to be able to do that too, without having to worry about my adhd messing that up

I have a large calendar with large boxes and I write everything on the calendar also I set my alarm clock at least twice for each event also I put my keys in one place when I walk in the house every single time also I keep everything in the exact same place every single time or I will spend all day looking for everything and then just get sidetracked

Definitely alarms and calendar notices. I sometimes will set 3 or 4 events at the same time with reminders days or weeks ahead of time all the way down to 10 minutes before. I literally live off my calendar to keep me on time and in the right place

Setting an alarm tends to help me for things that are weeks or months in advance
