Do you remember your childhood?

i’m not sure if this is related, but sometimes i have a hard time remembering what i did during certain periods of time. almost like there’s a chunk missing out of my days. couldn’t tell you what i did yesterday after 6 pm.

Ah, dissociation. My old friend. My therapist keeps prodding me to remember things but I don’t then I’ll have weird memories that shouldn’t be memories? Like what’s up with that?

Idk if this is the same thing, but I've always had very poor memory. My family will talk about an event or vacation we went to and I wouldn't remember any of it. Bits and pieces perhaps, but only if they specifically speak of the scenario in detail.
