Low FODMAP diet. It’s just my life now. No dairy AT ALL and no garlic and onions. Personally also no/low gluten for other reasons, but also seemed to help with bloating. I go symptom free for so long I sometimes even forget and then eat something triggering and will be in so much pain and have IBS attack and remember all too well why I eat so strict. It’s pretty plain the way I eat all the time, but not having extreme abdominal pain, no gas, no terrible IBS poops throughout the day, no bloat is worth it for me. I eat out once or twice a week and try to pick the healthier options/stick to Japanese restaurants (healthier in my opinion and more anti inflammatory diet friendly)

Drinking a TON of water and staying active helps things stay more regular for me but as far as reducing symptoms it really depends on what type of IBS you have and what you are willing to consume. For me, (constipation, bloating and gas pains) Mint/Chamomile tea, activated charcoal, avoiding known food triggers, aloe vera/marshmallow root/elm bark supplements (you can get all 3 in one on amazon message me if you wanna know more)

I like ibguard and fdguard pills they are OTC and also help with IBS and upper abdominal pain :) also I take digestive enzymes with every meal which can help a lot! I noticed herbal antimicrobials over a long period of time kind of stabilized my digestion too

The only thing that really started helping me manage my symptoms was a Blackberry Root tincture and a supplement called “Galt-Immune” which helps my stomach lining repair

I used Papaya Digestive Support wafers from Country Life. It helps keeps things regulated. For me, as long as I'm regulated and having regular trips to the bathroom, it's manageable. Funny enough, Rockstar Energy drinks are my to-go if I can't get my system to work properly. I suspect there's something in the drink that I'm missing in my daily diet. Planning on restarting my diet by testing out foods one by one until I've remade my diet. I believe it's based off the diet FOMAP.
