Reducing SSRI-Induced Diarrhea: Tips and Tricks

What can I do to reduce diarrhea caused by my SSRI? I read that they can change your gut bacteria significantly which is what causes this symptom. I also seem to be unable to fully digest seeds and grains now. Anything I can eat or take to restore health to my gut?

taking good probiotics before eating anything in the morning or as directed on the bottle, drinking water with a pinch of salt to absorb the water better, avoid acidic, spicy, & greasy foods, try searching up insoluble and soluble fibers to bulk up and help you pass your shits a lot better. if there is any mucus, bleeding, or black color (coffee ground texture) in your stool, please get that checked asap. the coffee ground texture and black color could especially indicate internal bleeding, so see a doctor/go to the er immediately. not trying to scare you, just trying to help!! see if you can see a gastro and talk about digestive enzymes if you don't seem to be digesting seeds properly. take care!!
