Are your stools still hard with the magnesium? Are you looking for more pain relief tips, stool softening tips, or both? I'll put a little bit of info on both here. My experience is that I need to take extra mag and or fiber to have loose stools for 3 days or so so the area can heal. I back down the dose once the area isn't hurting anymore. Prevention involves moving the body, hydration, fiber. I have alot of gut issues (parasite, dysbiosis, many ppl have this problem and don't know) which I am working on healing from, so I use these things to keep my bowels moving- digestive bitters, enzymes, psyllium fiber, magnesium, bowel mover, and a bile mover. For pain relief, I do a warm sitz bath- I just sit in my bathtub with shallow water, a lidocaine menthol gel, and calmoseptine which has zinc and is a barrier cream. Also sleep is so important. My hemorrhoids always feel better after a good 9 hours of sleep cuz that's healing time. Message me for more details on all this, I love this topic and I struggle with this too and want to help ppl. šŸ’•
