very interested in finding a way to lessen the effects of gluten cross contamination, hopefully by increasing my immunity level.

I have a friend who has celiacs and takes anti gluten pills before eating gluten and he has told me it works. I haven't tried it myself so I can't tell you how it is with someone without celiacs...but, that might be a possibility!

I was told by a gastroenterologist and many other readings I have studied, once you have it, you have it, and it doesn’t matter there’s no pills you can take to take the gluten out. There is damage being done.

If you're gluten intolerant, there's not much you can do about it. I hate to be the one to have to say that but I've tried going gf and slowly reintroducing and ended up sick every time.
