Does anyone else find that no matter what they eat or do for exercise, they can't seem to reduce fat? How can I reduce fat content with my hormonal imbalance (PCOS) while on the pill?

Unfortunately I haven't managed to find any healthy ways to lose weight with PCOS, different hormone pills will affect the weight loss too and so some will make that worse than it would otherwise be. So the only thing I can think of is possibly investigating alternative hormone medicine options. I hope to get some answers regarding healthy weight loss methods here too. Best of luck with your PCOS journey.

One person mentioned that they were unable to lose weight despite diet and exercise until they had been on medication for both PCOS and hypothyroidism for over a year. After this, they lost 50 pounds while maintaining their normal diet and exercise because their system started metabolizing and processing properly. Another person found success with lifting weights, as the extra muscle mass helped burn the PCOS weight. They noted that cardio did not work for them. Some people also suggested trying Noom, Pilates, supplements, eating small portions, drinking lots of water, reducing sugar and carbs, low-intensity cardio, yoga, and mindful eating. However, everyone's body is different, so it's important to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new diet or exercise regimen.
