I was prescribed Prilosec and Famotidine, but regular nausea medicine has also been really helpful when i'm having a rough day.

Pick up some ginger/honey chews at Walmart! There’s some that also have peppermint and B vitamins in them that help with nausea. Sucking on those has saved me countless times! Also, if you get some essential oils that are meant to help with menstrual cramps, they usually help with general abdominal discomfort as well! Try Doterra’s Whisper blend - clary sage is the important ingredient. Topical application and breathing it in does wonders!

Carbs are the best! Personally, I find it best to go for foods that don’t really smell like much. Things like toast, a bagel, or even a bland pasta dish. That way you’re both getting enough calories down AND not triggering an episode. I also keep a tin of mints on me at all times, and when I start to feel a little nauseous, they can keep it at bay long enough to get somewhere comfortable. Hang in there!

Don’t lay down within an hour or two of eating, and try H2 blockers half an hour before a meal if you can.

Small meal throughout the day instead of 2 or 3 regular meals, limit acids and alcohol and don't drink dark sodas and In emergencies when I start feeling bad acid its not the healthiest but I binge on breads/carbs and it absorbs some of the acid and reduces the severity.

I had some lifestyle changes that reduced my symptoms: - I stopped smoking. - I divided my meals into smaller meals. - I stopped eating a few hours before I went to bed, and never lay down after a meal. - I limit my alcohol consumption.

Eat small and soft meals, drink enough water. Don’t eat acidic, spicy or fatty food.
