Recurring Ovarian Cysts: What Are My Chances?

For those of you with ovarian cyst(s), after your initial cyst, did you get more? I recently had one rupture and I’m wondering what my chances are of having that happen again.

not sure if it is common but i had a 10cm cyst removed about 5 months ago and now i have a new 3.5 cm cyst.

I have had one cyst for 3-4 years and another cyst came along within the last year. Everyone is different tho. Prayers!

Hi, Emmalee. I have recurring ovarian cysts. This means sometimes the cysts occur/heal with my menstrual cycle. Not all people with a uterus have this, but it's important to check. If you haven't already, schedule with a gyno for imaging/examination. Especially if you are feeling pains similar to your first cysts. There are treatments that can help you through this.
