      blood work for strep antibodies and immune markers, antibiotics, immunoglobulin infusions, and a good therapist are what helped me. i had a particularly severe case ~10-14 complicated by complex trauma and i am now symptom free! pandas physicians network website has resources. this disorder SUCKS but you can get through it ❤️

      Hi omg! It’s rare to run into someone else dealing with PANDAS so I’m glad I’ve ran into you. I was diagnosed very early and it took a lot of pediatric care to finally have a doctor that understood what I had, since the illness was not as recognized back then. While there is no definitive test for PANDAS, your pediatrician may take blood tests, strep cultures, brain scans or the Cunningham panel that tests for autoimmune disorders. But typically it starts with your family doctor testing for strep via blood or throat swab.

      I would say research and learn as much as you can. Learn coping skills that work for you so that you can function in this unforgiving world. It does get better in time.

      Hi I also have pandas and I was not diagnosed until I was 20 years old I'm 22 now and it had been hard
