Currently coming out of a psychotic episode, anyone have suggestions for readjusting/recovering period? Usually a depressive period follows, and I am looking for ways to make it more manageable.

Give yourself time. I stayed in bed for a month while recovering. Theres a lot to process and a lot to get through after psychosis. Take care of yourself even though its hard. But eventually you'll put yourself back together

Hi, although I didn't have to deal with a psychotic episode, I did deal with depression quite a bit. The things that help me the most are surrounding myself with people who are important to me, doing things I like, eating food that comforts me, and also going to my psychologist in order to unpack and process things. A combination of these and medication really helps me in situations like this.
