Physical therapy is your friend. Even if you aren't able to see a therapist you can do things at home to improve your life. The most important thing is to accept that things will not be the same & learn to adapt. If you think positively, work hard & push through you may be able to get back some mobility, depending on the cause. In my case I had back surgery which made my mobility worse. I have accepted that I'll be limited on my mobility & learned ways to get around it. The worst part right now is that I broke my leg. It has been a real struggle & tbh I am having a hard time both physically & emotionally. This has been such a slow recovery & it is frustrating.

I have CP and uncontrolled epilepsy, which has made me lose any taste for freedom I once had. The only thing I can do for my feet is wear socks as weird as it sounds. šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø
