Recommendations for online therapy?

does anyone recommend any of the online therapy like cerebral? as much as I've tried to handle myself without medicine, I feel like I'm stuck in life and letting my issues control me.

I used BetterHelp for a while and personally it wasn't for me. It would probably have worked better for my anxiety but at the time I was mostly seeking help for bipolar 2. I think they can definitely be helpful but I would opt for the video calls if possible.

Thanks yall! With so many of those types of services popping up, and not having money to sample, it makes me cautious so what's actually helpful.

Cerebral has had issues with ensuring users get proper care and has been sending excess meds to duplicated accounts. Better Help is not too great because they give you so much access to therapists that some people never get the chance to try techniques on their own. I'm not sure about any others, but even therapists have said to stay away from those two. If you're able to, some therapists and psychiatrists are still doing telehealth and you may be able to find a local person.

My friend uses Openpath for therapy. They offer discounted rates ($30-$60 a session) and they have telehealth options. A much cheaper option if you don't have insurance.

cerebral has been good for me. I matched with a therapist I clicked with quickly. I like the medication plan as well, but I did get my prescription from my general doctor first so I’m not completely sure if that had an impact. the cost is kind of a lot, but if that’s an issue you could always seek an independent therapist who offers virtual sessions that takes your insurance!
