Coping with Social Anxiety in Busy Places

I have acute social anxiety and I was wondering other than medication, what are some ways to cope with having to be in busy places with lots of people?

Mentally preparing myself beforehand, this includes meditation and bringing something comforting with me like a fudget that can fit in my pocket, or a bottle of water, anything that can distract me from my anxiety for even a second. Also taking deep breaths while in the busy place. I also find it helps to give myself a way out, a place to take a break like another room or my car or even a bathroom.

For example, I work in an elementary school. I am surrounded by chaos, but having a fidget in my pocket helps me release a lot of my physical symptoms of anxiety

Prayer and cbd/hemp Seriously. I literally do not handle being out around ppl. People are nuts now days. Worse than ever it seems. People are loud, obnoxious, rude, don't make their kids mind, act younger than their kids and hateful. People drive like maniacs. I am so grateful for delivery services lol But when I HAVE to go out in public. Cbd/hemp is the thing I turn to. Works like a charm, every time.

I have thought about trying CBD/hemp products. See I work in a factory and thankfully I have music and podcasts to somewhat distract me. However there are times those don't even help.
