Found mine were from an open PFO(hole in the heart) had it patched.. way less migraines, but ones that I do have are monsters. Instead of 1 or 2 month long migraines 😩.. have at least 2 a month.. only last days..

I have hemiplegic migraines a few times a year, varying in frequency. I have notice a connection between hormone changes and the frequency of them. I have chosen not to seek medicine but have already had 4 this year. I have been to a neurologist and my normal doctor about them but haven't tried anything to avoid them. With how debilitating they are I have wondered if I should ask my doctor...

Do go to a neurologist. They know about such headaches. I was out in medicine and I rarely have those type of headaches now. When I do, I do have medication to help abort it. But on very rare occasions, I get it and I can’t speak, numbness around lips, just scares everyone.

only my first one I couldn’t speak thankfully I only get them about once a year but that first one was scary but the numbness usually crawls from one of my hands to the side of my face It’s crazy
