Has anyone had any additional tests done about the migraines or been to a neurologist not sure what direction to do since the condition is so rare. Thanks!!

Found mine were from an open PFO(hole in the heart) had it patched.. way less migraines, but ones that I do have are monsters. Instead of 1 or 2 month long migraines 😩.. have at least 2 a month.. only last days..

I have hemiplegic migraines a few times a year, varying in frequency. I have notice a connection between hormone changes and the frequency of them. I have chosen not to seek medicine but have already had 4 this year. I have been to a neurologist and my normal doctor about them but haven't tried anything to avoid them. With how debilitating they are I have wondered if I should ask my doctor...

Do go to a neurologist. They know about such headaches. I was out in medicine and I rarely have those type of headaches now. When I do, I do have medication to help abort it. But on very rare occasions, I get it and I can’t speak, numbness around lips, just scares everyone.

@Marmy5 only my first one I couldn’t speak thankfully I only get them about once a year but that first one was scary but the numbness usually crawls from one of my hands to the side of my face It’s crazy
