Randomly Passing Out - Seeking Advice

Does anyone else randomly pass out? And if you do has your doctor been able to find a cause or help? I have started passing out but am not sure why, any info would be very helpful. Thanks

I have to take incremental steps to getting up otherwise my vision goes black. So sit up a little and put your feet down and sit there for a few before standing up from lying down. If you’re a female-organ-having person, low iron can be a culprit. Not having enough salt, and anxiety has also gotten me a few times.

It could be a sign of POTS, I have it. POTS can cause symptoms like lightheadedness, fainting and an uncomfortable, rapid increase in heartbeat when standing up. Go to your doctor to rule out this condition.

Hi, Tiara. My daughter was having light headedness almost to the point of passing out. Turns out she needed more salt. The one time I've passed out or blacked out, they did a CT of my head and found a polyp in my nose. They removed it and I haven't had a problem since. Hope that gives you one path to follow.
