Why do I make random noise?

so I'm unsure why I just make random noise and If I don't do it it makes me feel a way that I can't explain but I think is anger my dad also does it but jokingly. I would just like to know if anyone would know why I do it.

I do this when im feeling particularly impulsive (symptom of ADD/ADHD.) I just get the urge to shout out whatever nonsense crosses my mind, such as random words or sounds, like if I see a cat I might meow at it, but then I'll keep saying "meow!" to myself periodically. It got me in trouble a lot when I was younger. I don't have the desire to do it as much now that I am medicated.

same mine are very impulsive and In my opinion I have a feeling it could have something to do with ADHD or tics.
