Does anyone know why I have a random black spot on my eye? I'm not sure how long it's been there but I'm 99% sure that it hasn't always been there.

This sounds like what's called a floater, if you see an optician they should be able to talk you through it but essentially it's crystals building up preventing light traveling through them people can get them due to certain things or just randomly and you can have multiple. The key thing is they usually are static so only move when your eye moves.
