Struggling to Quit Smoking Due to Anxiety and Bipolar Disorder

I’m trying to quit smoking cigarettes but it’s tied so closely to my anxiety/bipolar. Does anyone else struggle with this?

I vape instead now, i know that's not great for you either but it has a lot less horrible stuff in it. During weekdays i can't vape for 6 or 7 hours so i wear a nicotine patch and those hold me over pretty good, so id suggest those big time if you want to get off nicotine entirely, and you can also use gum for a boost. Compounding a mood disorder with withdrawal from a drug is awful, i hope things ease up soon!

I quit almost 6 weeks ago. I was a pack a day plus smoker for 40 years. I did cold turkey. I tried multiple other methods in the past, and always failed. This time I had to succeed. I need back surgery. The first few days are the hardest.

I’m trying lollipops and the patch. I was at 30 days smoke free but then went through a breakup. I’m back on day 2

When my mom quit smoking for her pregnancy with me, she bought a big bag of the dumdum lollipops? It's supposed to help satisfy the oral fixation. I'm pretty sure it would also help with anxiety because of the way taste and sensory input help to ground people?
