i want to quit smoking and vaping. how do i start?

      Hey! If youre smoking cigarettes and vaping I would try to quit vaping first. I say this because in my experience it’s easy to hit it so much more often throughout the day/can have it whenever you want. This will get you used to not having nicotine on demand (unless you choose to chain smoke cigs throughout the day). Next tackle the cigarettes. Quitting nicotine is so hard. A year ago I was smoking cigarettes and vaping all day long and I have quit vaping and feel much better. This is my advice. Good luck!!!

      Smoking cigarettes or marijuana? If you are both smoking and vaping nicotine I would suggest cutting back to just vaping it first and then quitting vaping. It is much easier to give them up one at a time and go slow, especially if you suffer from anxiety. Be kind to yourself and remember that slip ups happen and you can still get back on track. If you are a visual person, having a calendar is nice. If you write, try journaling your journey each day and when you are feeling weak you can look back on your progress. Anyway I didn’t mention marijuana at all because I am not sure where you live/ how old you are etc. but that can also be a tool to help take off the edge of the nicotine withdrawals both physically and emotionally if that is something you are open to! Source: I have yet to quit vaping but starving yourself is like an addiction in itself and these are the ways I push myself to be better each day in that regard and the method through which I imagine (uhhhh I really hope!!) I will quit vaping one day
