Like many of you I have horrible anxiety, lately it just feels worse than it has in a while. I got a new job last fall and it really helped me get out there and be able to talk to a lot of people, but all of a sudden I can not be in big crowds. Playing music is my relief but I can't just pull out an instrument whenever I'm out, so instead I fidget, A LOT, I also have breathing exercises. This doesn't seem to be helping me anymore. Any ideas for a quick relief when out in big crowds?!

      Have you tried grounding exercises? A popular one is the 5-4-3-2-1 technique: Five things you can see, four you can touch, three you can hear, two you can smell, and one you can taste. Maybe carry around a water bottle with ice, and hold a piece when you need grounded. Hope this helps! ❤️
