how will I know when my pulmonary embolism has gone?

I had a PE in December 2022 but I'm still experiencing pain. I have been in hospital and further scans done and the original clot has gone, I would have never guessed 😂😂

Knowing if a PE has gone might depend on a few things like if the cause of the PE still exists, if you’ve been prescribed a blood thinner and how long you’ve been on it, and if you had any procedure to dissolve the blood clot if that’s what caused your PE. The best person to ask would be your physician. Are you seeing a pulmonologist?
