Questions about my PTSD diagnosis

Yes!! Although I think mine stems from something else. I think I may have ADHD, which would make sense because I also have ARFID.

I do have trouble concentrating when I get an intrusive thought or triggered. I can work fine but my personal life is very affected by it and has prevented me from getting close to someone, relationships- the typical romantic stuff. I also talked to my psychiatrist about stuff and realized some stuff I was feeling was anxiety related to it.

I’ve got complex PTSD and have had the worst memory and focus problems since I was a child. I also have ADHD, though.

I call myself a "space cadet" Definitely. Multi-sensory & physical activities help because motor memory is different.

I definitely do! Issues with concentration are pretty common with PTSD, from what I know. It can cause issues with memory too, making it hard to remember to do important things for work or relationships. The only thing that has somewhat helped me is making lots of to-do lists and trying to break big things into lots of small things so I don’t get overwhelmed or feel like a failure.
