Psychiatrist Threatened Hospitalization - Have You Ever Lied to Your Therapist?

My psychiatrist and his supervisor threatened to hospitalize me the other day. Personally, I think it's an overreaction to me driving too fast. Now I've got 2 questions: 1. Have you ever lied to your therapist out of fear you'd be pink slipped (regardless of mood state)? 2. If you've been hospitalized for a manic episode, do you feel like it was warranted?
