Should I Trust My Psychiatrist's Diagnosis?

should I push to get tested for a diagnosis I feel I may have? or should I just listen to my psychiatrist when he thinks I don't have it.

I don't trust psychiatrists, either see someone actually qualified or live on with no "real" diagnosis
