Psych Doc Adjusts My Meds for Weight Gain

So, I just had a video chat appointment with my psych doc to talk about my weight gain since I have been on Litium. He has lowered my dose of the Lithium and put me on Topamax to help me loose some weight. He said he doesn't want to completely take me off of Lithium completely since he has been working and I agree with him 100% and we reduced it and added the Topamax. So we will see if I will loose weight or not.

I'm on Lithium, too. Been on it since 2012 I think. I decided that I would stay on it since it has been working so well and I'm pretty stable. I have gained weight, but I think that is partly due to my old eating habits.
