We are new to the app. This is about my husband. He has high blood pressure, high cholesterol, kidney disease, type 2 diabetic. He got COVID in January which he was very sick was in hospital for 3 days. While in hospital a internal medicine specialist was treating him bc of his health issues. During that time they changed a lot of his medicines and added some. Well anyway COVID attacked his kidneys which made things progress. They found he gets protein in his kidneys. They have do every cancer test, blood work possible to find the cause, which no explanation. His creatinine level is only 2.7 which is really good for someone that has kidney disease. But what I want to know does anyone have this issue with protein in kidneys and if so what are you doing for it?? My diabetes A1C is 6.4 so that’s good, my diabetes is under control. They have us scared bc they say protein in your kidneys can cause other life threatening events like heart attack, stroke or death. So we are doing everything doctors say to do but still continue with protein in kidneys. I have to have blood work every 2 weeks which is getting old. I’m Over being poked etc…, please information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
