Seeking advice on Propranolol and Imitrex for migraines

has anyone had success with these medications and how long did it take? They started me with Propranolol twice a day and Imitrex (Sumatriptan) for the start of migraines to try and prevent them. Neither have seemed to do anything for me

I take Propranolol and Topamax, though only partially for my headaches. I've been on them for over a year, but unfortunately, they haven't been much help in that department. I still deal with headaches everyday, and too often, they'll still progress into migraines, even with actual painkillers on top. I think the pain meds help the migraines more than the Propranolol and Topamax, at least for me.

I had pretty bad shaking/tremors for awhile until I started taking long term antibiotics, but I've noticed its actually been worse since being on propranolol. How often do you take the Topomax?

I have essential tremors for years and my mom just kept saying it's just shaking it runs in the family. One of my closest friends recently noticed how bad it actually was and told me about the propranolol and I talked to my new neurologist and he prescribed it and within 2 months no more shaking. I was on imitrex years ago. I think it helped at first. I eventually build up a tolerance to everything though. I take topomax for prevention and nurtec for breakthrough now but topomax works pretty well.
