Propranolol for Anxiety and High Heart Rate
Does anyone else take propranolol for anxiety/high heart rate? It’s been a few months now and it helped me SO much. My heart rate was going up to 191 bpm whenever I got anxious along with chest pain, but this med made my heart rate normal (70-90), and lowered physical anxiety symptoms which decreased panic attacks. However, it seems to not be working as well anymore. My anxiety is returning and heart rate is up again. Maybe has something to do with not exercising for a week?

Hi, how long have you been taking the medication? It may be that you need to increase the dose or change the medication because it is no longer effective. You should go to the doctor and consult with him, he will know how to help with this.
