Progressive Muscle Relaxation: A Great Tool for Anxiety and Pain Relief

does anyone else do progressive muscle relaxation? i suggest trying it! you target and tense different muscles for a moment and upon release, there's a sense of relaxation. ive found it a great tool to calm my body from anxiety symptoms and also relieve some fibromyalgia pain 💗

I have tried that. It does help. I haven't done it in a while.

my therapist is always recommending that i do this (i always forget about it 😂) i do it for my shoulders/neck almost everyday though and whew it relieves some of that pain for sure

I would always forget about it too! haha it took us doing it together in group therapy for me to finally use it!

Definitely second trying this!! I do something similar on occasion. That along with some deep breaths can do wonders 😁
